Theatre Thursday #6



The musical around which today's puzzle was built was met with a fairly unpopular reception when it first came out in the 1930's. Years later, a 1976 production gained it new popularity, and it is now one of the best-known and most frequently performed operas. Maybe it's even a favorite of yours. Happy solving!🧩

    I always find Theatre Thursdays more difficult, as I know next to nothing about theatre. I do have Miles Davis' album of 14-Across, though, and it's great!

      Adding to the difficulty was that I was wondering why the Theatre puzzle was today, as I was thinking that today was Wednesday. SMH.

    This is fantastic! Led to singing a lot of lyrics through as we tried to remember. Now I have to go back and do all the previous Theatre Thursdays.
